Zhen Li (AKA Sylvia) is a filmmaker based in New York and Los Angeles. She has 11 years of experience in painting and stage design. Because of this exposure, she is always able to generate creative thoughts and accurately capture key ideas and emotions out of a script. After spotting all the vital parts, she can then precisely visualize and construct the scene from it, which in the end results in the best imagery possible on the screen.

Having work experience in multiple camera and lighting departments for various projects, she has not only developed the ability to oversee the story, being able to control the rhythm of the whole cast but is also familiar with devices of all types. Sylvia especially enjoys the role as a director because she has a strong passion to express her perspectives through films of her own creation. She is always looking forward to working with a variety of crew members and actors at many different experience levels because she believes that each cast is going to be a unique experience.
